Directions
The Shadows is located at 317 E. Main Street, New Iberia, LA at the intersection of Highways 14 & 182. Only 30 minutes southeast of Lafayette using either US Hwy. 90 or Hwy. 182. A 1-1/2 hour drive from Baton Rouge on I-10 to US 90 & Hwy 14. It is 2 hours from New Orleans following US 90 to Hwy. 14.
All tours begin at the visitors center at 320 E. Main Street, which is located directly across the street from The Shadows.
Parking
Free parking is available on the street in front of the house in the gravel lot on its west side (Weeks Street), or in the Visitor Center lot located across Main Street from the Shadows.
Tour Information & Admission Rates
House tours run approximately 35-45 minutes and begin at the visitors center with a brief introductory video.
